This medical supply or implant item is securely packaged within its original manufacturer's packaging, which remains undamaged. The inner and outer packaging is intact, ensuring the product's integrity and suitability for medical use.

The BoneSupport A 0210-09 CERAMENT 5mL Bone Void Filler is an injectable ceramic bone substitute specifically designed to fill and support bone voids and defects that are not intrinsic to bone stability. It is composed of a biphasic mixture of 60% calcium sulfate and 40% hydroxyapatite, which together offer both fast resorption and long-term scaffold support for new bone growth. The product is provided in a ready-to-mix kit that includes powder and liquid components, along with a syringe-based delivery system that allows for precise and controlled injection, even into complex or narrow anatomical sites.

Once applied, the material hardens in situ, forming a moldable and drillable matrix that is radiopaque, allowing surgeons to confirm placement via imaging. The calcium sulfate component dissolves over time, providing space for vascularized bone ingrowth, while the hydroxyapatite remains to support the maturing bone structure. This dual-phase resorption and remodeling profile is intended to match the natural healing cycle, promoting integration and the gradual replacement of the substitute with the patient’s own bone within approximately six to twelve months.

CERAMENT is used in orthopedic procedures including trauma, bone cyst treatment, tumor cavity filling, and revision surgeries where bone defects need to be reconstructed. The 5mL volume version (A 0210-09) is particularly suited for small to medium-sized defects and can be applied using minimally invasive techniques. Its combination of injectability, biocompatibility, and osteoconductive properties makes it a versatile and effective solution for enhancing bone regeneration in a variety of clinical scenarios.
