Katena Corza Barron K20-2076 Non-Vacuum Corneal Donor Punch 7.50mm – New
Barron® Original Mechanical Corneal Donor Button Punch | Model K20-2076 | 7.50 mm Diameter Trephine Blade Profile | Sterile Single-Use Non-Vacuum Allograft Tissue Preparation Element | Brand New
Expiration: 12/2027 - 07/2028
The Katena Corza Barron K20-2076 is a professional-grade, sterile, single-use ophthalmic surgical instrument expertly engineered to punch a highly precise, uniform, and perpendicular donor corneal button graft during keratoplasty procedures (such as Penetrating Keratoplasty [PK], Deep Anterior Lamellar Keratoplasty [DALK], and Descemet Membrane Endothelial Keratoplasty [DMEK]). Part of the globally recognized Barron® Corneal Transplant Product Portfolio distributed by Corza Ophthalmology, this original non-vacuum mechanical assembly features an ultra-sharp, micro-honed 7.50 mm trephine cutting edge machined from a solid rod of seamless stainless steel. This advanced, thin-walled seamless blade architecture minimizes tissue shearing resistance, drastically cutting down surgically induced astigmatism and endothelial cell loss (ECL) at the graft margin. Outfitted with an "open top" design framework that maximizes direct visualization of the graft under operating magnification, the K20-2076 includes an integrated nylon cutting block base that matches the blade curvature perfectly, allowing the surgeon or eye bank technician to consistently stamp out a structurally clean allograft disc with a single mechanical stroke.
