After receiving a technology degree, business school and many years working in the Operating Room Douglas quickly moved from sales to Director of Operations. He decided to take his skills over into Humanitarian work and built one of the largest medical humanitarian programs in North America responsible for handling over $100M in resources. He has continued this work currently sitting as President of the Board for Project Perfect World a surgical mission charity. Helping to establish Orthopedic, Spine and DDH program services at the Roberto Gilbert Hospital in Guayaquil, Ecuador.

Douglas has been aware of the $10B inventory waste problem in the US healthcare system feeling that eventually technology could be built to solve this massive global problem. An introduction to Jacob by faculty at the prestigious Babson College-Goldman Sach’s 10,000 Small Business program Douglas had attended led to the development of TAP. Using Doug’s vast industry knowledge and Jacob’s experience solving large scale data and reverse supply chain issues the solution was born.

Doug is supported by his wife Tanyia and their daughter Scarlett. They enjoy living and experiencing outdoors in Utah’s Wasatch Mountains biking and hiking with their 2 dogs. In his spare time Doug has been studying the martial arts Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Muay Thai Kick Boxing for 20 years.
