The AMSINO AMSAFE 27″ IV extension set is designed to extend the reach of your intravenous line when additional tubing length or access flexibility is needed. At 27 in (≈ 69 cm) with a priming volume of about 4.9 mL, it provides a balance between extended reach and manageable internal fluid volume. The standard bore design ensures that fluid flows are not overly restricted, making it suitable for a broad range of infusion therapies.

This extension includes two injection Y‑sites, each with a pre-pierced septum (i.e. not needle-free in this variant), providing multiple access points for administering additional medications, infusions, or sampling lines without disconnecting the main line. Because two slide clamps are present (one on each branch or main tubing), you can selectively control flow through each segment before or after those Y‑sites. The rotating male luer lock makes connection to catheters or downstream tubing secure and leak-resistant while allowing relative rotation to reduce twisting forces on the line.

In terms of materials and user safety, this extension set is DEHP-free and latex-free, reducing the risk of allergic or toxic reactions.
