- The Bard 5950007 Ventralex™ ST Hernia Patch is a sterile, single-use device designed for the reinforcement of soft tissue during hernia repair procedures. This small circular patch measures 1.7 inches (4.3 cm) in diameter and features a positioning strap to assist surgeons with precise placement.
- Crafted from uncoated, medium-weight monofilament polypropylene, the mesh includes an absorbable hydrogel barrier based on Sepra® Technology on the posterior side. This barrier helps reduce the risk of tissue adhesions by minimizing visceral attachment during the healing process, promoting optimal recovery.
- The patch incorporates SorbaFlex™ Memory Technology, which allows it to spring open and lay flat once deployed inside the body.
