The Bard 5955680 Ventralight™ ST Mesh is a sterile, single-use device designed for the reinforcement of soft tissue during laparoscopic ventral hernia repair procedures. This elliptical-shaped mesh measures 6 inches by 8 inches (15.2 cm x 20.3 cm) and features a low-profile design that facilitates trocar deployment and mechanical fixation, making it ideal for ventral hernia repairs.

Crafted from uncoated, medium-weight monofilament polypropylene, the mesh includes an absorbable hydrogel barrier based on Sepra® Technology on the posterior side. This barrier helps reduce the risk of tissue adhesions by minimizing visceral attachment during the healing process, promoting optimal recovery.

The mesh comes pre-attached to the Echo PS™ Positioning System, a low-profile balloon that, when inflated, assists in the deployment of the mesh during laparoscopic procedures.
