The H9121 Sterling® Tapered Bur is a sterile, single-use orthopedic/debriding instrument produced by CONMED under its Sterling line. It features a 4.0 mm tapered head diameter with a 13 cm working length, fitting the "Large Hub" system for powered arthroscopic and orthopedic resection tools.  Ideal for sculpting bone or cartilage, the tapered profile is especially useful in acromioplasties, notchplasties, and other bony site preparations requiring precision shaping.

Constructed from surgical-grade stainless steel, the H9121 bur is optimized for high-speed use—rated up to 12,000 rpm—providing efficient cutting while minimizing thermal damage to surrounding tissues. Its "Large Hub" fitting ensures compatibility with CONMED Linvatec systems (Ergo, Advantage Turbo, Apex, etc.) and delivers stable torque transfer during bone and cartilage resection procedures. The bur’s tapered geometry allows smooth ingress into tight spaces, enhancing access during arthroscopic interventions.

Packaged in a box of six sterile units, the H9121 is intended for single-patient use, eliminating reprocessing needs and reducing contamination risk. This configuration supports operating room efficiency and compliance with infection control standards. Whether you're removing osteophytes or contouring subacromial surfaces, this bur delivers predictable, high-performance cutting in demanding surgical contexts.
