The Expect Slimline SL is a fine needle aspiration needle designed for EUS-guided sampling. The 25‑gauge size (0.52 mm diameter) allows access through echoendoscopes with narrow working channels (min. 2.4 mm) while maintaining rigidity for accurate targeting. It features a sharp grind for precise tissue penetration and a highly visible echogenic pattern that extends to the needle tip, aiding real-time visualization during ultrasound-guided procedures.

Constructed from cobalt-chromium alloy, this needle offers superior hardness and tensile strength compared to traditional stainless steel—improving resistance to deformation over multiple passes, enhancing pushability, and preserving sharpness. The Slimline handle features a dual-zone "Control ZONE™" for ergonomic control and accommodates different hand sizes, ensuring comfortable and tactile actuation during delicate sampling.
