Mindray CO2 Module w/ Microstream Version 1.0 6800-30-50558 for DPM6 & DMP7 Certified 90-Day Warranty

• Model: P07578 (Mindray)
• Version 1.0

The Mindray 6800‑30‑50558 CO₂ module is a specialized add‑on component for Mindray’s DPM6 and DPM7 patient monitors, which enhances these monitors with capnography capability via MicroStream / Oridion technology. In practice, this module allows clinicians to continuously monitor the partial pressure or concentration of carbon dioxide in exhaled breath at the end of exhalation (end‑tidal CO₂), as well as the inspired CO₂ and respiratory rate derived from CO₂ waveforms. This is critical in many clinical settings for assessing ventilation adequacy, detecting respiratory issues early, and confirming correct airway placement (especially in intubated patients).

Mechanically, the module is installed in the dual‑slot expansion bays provided in the DPM6 / DPM7 units, integrating seamlessly into the monitor’s user interface. It depends upon the appropriate external consumables, such as a MicroStream nasal/oral cannula or sampling line (for non‑intubated patients), or appropriate interface for intubated patients. The module leverages MiniStream’s low flow sampling technology to reduce dead space and patient discomfort, while still providing accurate measurement even in patients with low tidal volumes. This makes it useful in a variety of scenarios—operating rooms, post‑operative recovery, intensive care units, emergency transport, and procedural sedation.

From a clinical workflow perspective, having the CO₂ measurement properly integrated into the DPM6/7 allows for alarm settings, trend display, and waveform visualization to be directly available alongside other vital signs (ECG, SpO₂, NIBP, etc.). This permits faster response to ventilation changes, metabolic abnormalities, or equipment/displacement failures (e.g. dislodged airway). Because the module supports both intubated and non‑intubated patient use, it offers flexibility across patient populations. As with all medical modules, maintenance (cleaning, replacement of sampling lines, calibration checks) is critical for reliable performance.

Refurbished to Original Manufacturer's Specifications (ROMS):

This medical equipment item has undergone a meticulous refurbishment process to ensure it meets the original manufacturer's specifications for operation. While previously used, it has been restored to like-new condition, guaranteeing reliable performance.
