The Temp Main Assembly Board is a critical component of the Accutorr V when the temperature module (such as “SmarTemp”) is installed. When a temperature probe is connected, this board processes the raw sensor signal (for example, resistance from a thermistor) and performs analog to digital conversion, calibration correction, unit scaling, and communicates the stabilized value to the main board. It usually also handles diagnostics regarding the probe—whether the probe is connected, whether it is at ambient vs measurement position, and whether there are faults (e.g. open‑circuit, short, or out of range). This helps ensure that displayed temperature values are accurate and that any errors are flagged appropriately for clinicians.

Physically, the board is part of the “Temperature Module Subassembly” in the Accutorr V. According to the service manual, the temperature module includes several parts: Temp Measurement Board Subassembly; Temp Module Power Supply Board PCBA; external and internal covers, probe holder, water ingress blocker, etc. The Temp Main Assembly Board would be one of the central PCBA components in that module, mounted within the Temp Module shell, joined via cable(s) to the probe connector and to the main board or to an isolation/power board. It’s designed to withstand normal hospital conditions (vibrations, knocks, cleaning, etc.), and likely includes protection for moisture ingress (e.g. from probe sheath or external environmental conditions) given parts like “water ingress blocker” are referenced in its subassembly.

This item is used and in good condition. This item was tested prior to being removed.
