The Mirage Activa 60102 Shallow Nasal Mask is designed for CPAP users who prefer a more modest cushion depth and want a seal that accommodates shifting during sleep (turning, tossing, changing positions) without causing leaks or discomfort. Its ActiveCell technology—a flexible membrane around the cushion—allows some movement of the mask frame independent of the cushion so that the cushion stays sealed even when the rest of the mask shifts. This is especially helpful for people who move around a lot at night and find deeper cushions tend to push off or leak.

Because it's the shallow version, the cushion projects less from the nose, which can reduce pressure points, minimize skin irritation, and reduce the feeling of bulk on the face. The forehead support is adjustable (four positions) and the forehead pads are flexible to better conform to individual facial contours, helping maintain seal comfort and stability. The One‑Snap elbow allows you to remove the tube for brief periods (e.g. getting up) without removing the mask entirely—convenient and reducing need for refitting each time.

Shallower cushions may work better for some nose shapes, but depending on your CPAP pressure and your facial structure, they may be more susceptible to leaks if the cushion isn't well matched.
