The TERUMO SURFLO 3SV‑22BLK Winged Infusion Set is engineered for reliable peripheral vascular access in a broad range of patients. Its 22‑gauge needle provides a balance: fine enough to reduce vessel trauma and discomfort, yet large enough to support many standard IV fluid and medication infusions. The ¾″ needle length is optimized for typical superficial venous access, and the 12‑inch tubing allows for sufficient slack and handling distance from the access site.

One of the key design features is the wing structure. The soft, flexible, interlocking wings are intended to conform to the patient’s skin surface, making secure taping and positioning easier, especially when the patient moves.
