The TIDI 3300MWA Grip‑Lok PICC/CVC Securement Device is engineered to provide a sutures-free, stable anchoring solution for peripherally inserted central catheters (PICC), central venous catheters (CVCs), and related vascular lines. The “Medium Wide Adhesive” format offers an expanded adhesive footprint (3.5 in length) suited for securing larger catheter hubs or multiple lines, making it especially useful in scenarios where more robust fixation is demanded. Its construction supports lines from about 16 to 40 French (tubing width ~0.175" to 1.00") and accommodates a range of material types including silicone and PVC hubs.

One of its standout features is the hook‑and‑loop flap arrangement. This allows clinicians to lift or reposition the catheter or tubing without removing the base adhesive, which helps reduce skin trauma and maintain adhesive integrity over time. The underlying base uses a breathable, hypoallergenic, latex‑free adhesive designed to be gentle on skin while still offering strong adhesion—claims suggest that Grip-Lok adhesives outperform conventional tape in strength while preserving skin integrity.

From a usability and comfort perspective, the 3300MWA is built with a low-profile, soft fabric design that minimizes bulk and reduces the risk of snags or irritation in patient movement. Because it omits rigid parts, it’s more conformable to body contours and is less likely to catch on clothing or bedding. Its sterile packaging enables placement close to the insertion site in sterile or semi-sterile fields. In practice, it can streamline catheter stabilization protocols by reducing reliance on sutures or bulky clamps, helping conform with modern standards (e.g. Infusion Nursing Society’s engineered securement recommendations) while improving patient comfort and line security.
