The Utah Medical BT-Cath® (Model BTC-ESY) is a rapid, minimally invasive intervention designed for the emergency management of Postpartum Uterine Hemorrhage (PPH). When uterine massage and uterotonic medications fail to achieve hemostasis, the BT-Cath provides immediate intrauterine pressure to stem bleeding from the uterine wall and placental bed.
