Used Medical Equipment- Signs of Use, Usable Condition (USED-SI):
The medical equipment has been previously used and shows visible signs of wear consistent with their prior usage. Despite these signs, they remain in a usable condition, suitable for continued medical procedures.
The Azer Scientific D1008 Mini Centrifuge (also known as the D1008 EZee Mini Centrifuge) is engineered for streamlined, space-saving operation. Its small footprint (approximately 160 × 170 × 122 mm or 6 × 6 × 5 inches) makes it a perfect fit for benchtops with limited space. It features a simple dual-action start/stop control—lid closure initiates spinning, while opening the lid halts the operation instantly.
Operating at a fixed speed of 7000 RPM (yielding up to 2680 × g relative centrifugal force), the D1008 excels at quick spin-downs and microfiltration tasks. It accommodates various tube formats via included rotors—typically one for 1.5/2.0 mL microtubes and another for PCR tube strips (e.g., PCR8). Its rotor system features a clamp-lock design that allows tool-free exchange, enabling fast, user-friendly swaps. Plus, it’s whisper-quiet, producing noise levels at or below 45 dB, and robust certifications like CE, cTÜVus, FCC, and MCA underscore its safety and quality.
