The Boston Scientific M0061902230 Tria™ Soft Ureteral Stent is a 6 French (F) diameter, 26-centimeter length stent designed for temporary ureteral drainage. It features a soft durometer, enhancing patient comfort during indwelling periods. The stent is equipped with side holes to facilitate optimal urine drainage and minimize the risk of obstruction. Its design aims to provide effective drainage while maintaining patient tolerability.

Constructed with PercuShield™ technology, the Tria™ Soft stent incorporates a nonionic, smooth, hydrophobic inner and outer coating. This innovative feature is designed to reduce adhesion with calcium and magnesium salts, thereby decreasing the likelihood of encrustation during the indwelling period. Studies have shown that stents with PercuShield™ coating exhibit significantly less deposition of calcium and magnesium salts compared to competitor stents, both in sterile and bacterial-infected urine environments .
