It terminates in a Bern tip, a gently curved end designed to facilitate atraumatic passage through ureteral orifices and anatomical turns, and connects proximally via a standard Luer-lock hub. Its inherent radiopacity ensures clear visibility under fluoroscopic guidance.

The braided design delivers excellent torque control and resistance to kinking—critical for percutaneous nephrolithotomy (PCNL), ureteroscopy, and difficult retrograde access procedures. As part of the Imager II line, it’s optimized for retrograde or antegrade placement and supports both guidewire passage and contrast/media injection via its open lumen.
