The Covidien LF5637 is a 5 mm × 37 cm LigaSure retractable L-hook sealer/divider, offering a hybrid instrument design that integrates vessel sealing, dissection, cold cutting, and grasping functionalities. Its combined design helps reduce the need to exchange instruments during laparoscopic procedures.
The instrument features a retractable L-hook tip and Maryland-style jaws with an 11.4 mm aperture. It includes a 20 mm seal plate and supports a cutting length of 18.5 mm. The shaft allows 315° rotation to reach challenging anatomical angles.
Marked with model “LF5637,” the instrument is sterile and intended for single-use. It is compatible with standard energy platforms such as the Valleylab FT10 and ForceTriad systems.
