The AC0004 is a single-use curved-sharp cannula within Medtronic’s Accurian™ RF ablation system, designed for percutaneous nerve tissue ablation procedures. Measuring 50 mm in total length, an 18-gauge shaft accommodates precise access, and it features a 10 mm exposed active tip ideal for delivering focused thermal lesions to small peripheral nerves or joint tissues.

Constructed from insulated metal tubing, the cannula directs RF energy only to its distal 10 mm tip, minimizing collateral tissue damage. The curved, sharp-point tip enhances surgical control and entry into target zones, especially in anatomically complex regions. Each sterile device comes with a plastic hub, and the curvature is tuned to accommodate safe, repeatable percutaneous insertion within the Accurian system framework.

Compatible with Medtronic’s Accurian™ platform, the AC0004 cannula is engineered to integrate with their smart-probe and channel control technology, supporting independent execution across up to four channels. This ensures consistent lesion formation with real-time temperature monitoring and accurate power control—even in multi-probe scenarios. Available in boxes of 10 units (catalog AC0004), this model pairs flexibility with precision for clinicians performing targeted RF ablations.
