Opti‑Cide3 (OCP04‑128) is a hospital-grade, ready-to-use disinfectant and cleaning solution designed for environmental surfaces and equipment in demanding settings like hospitals, clinics, laboratories, and high-traffic public areas. Because it is factory-prepared and requires no mixing, it streamlines infection control workflows and reduces user error. Its formulation combines quaternary ammonium compounds with alcohol-based solvents, allowing it to loosen and suspend organic and inorganic soils (such as blood, bodily fluids, and debris) while disinfecting — thereby serving as a one-step cleaner-disinfectant. The poured jug format allows for replenishing spray systems or manual dispensing stations.

When applied to hard, non-porous surfaces, Opti‑Cide3 is engineered to achieve full disinfection in about 2 minutes, per label claims. In cases where it is used on soft or fabric surfaces, it can act as a sanitizer with a brief 10-second contact time (per manufacturer instructions). Its broad-spectrum antimicrobial profile includes efficacy claims against bacteria (including resistant strains), viruses (e.g. HIV, influenza), fungi, and tuberculosis pathogens. These features make it suitable across varied zones — from patient rooms and surgical areas to equipment surfaces, counters, and high-touch fixtures.

For cases where prolonged instrument immersion is needed (e.g. soaking metal surgical/dental tools), the rust inhibitor variant (OCP04‑128RI) offers an advantage by protecting metal surfaces (e.g. stainless steel, titanium, brass, chrome) from corrosion during soak times. This version retains the disinfectant properties while adding that protective benefit. As always, safe and effective use hinges on following label instructions: maintaining wet contact time, avoiding use on incompatible materials, ensuring ventilation, employing personal protective equipment, and respecting the constraints of hazardous material shipping and handling. Overstepping limits (e.g. using on porous materials, extended immersion beyond recommended) may reduce efficacy or damage surfaces.
