• The UreSil Origin GP catheter (model GPL2‑1230H) is a 12 French (≈ 4 mm) general-purpose drainage catheter featuring a locking pigtail tip and precision-etched depth markings along a 20 cm shaft length to support accurate placement confirmation under imaging guidance. This hydrophilic‑coated design facilitates smooth, low-friction insertion through tissue planes, while the clear hub enhances visual control during placement. Each sterile kit includes the catheter, metal and flexible cannulas, trocar, and hydrophilic coating, providing excellent functionality for abscess drainage, nephrostomy, or other interventional radiology procedures.

• Engineered with UreSil’s Ureflex®‑standard material, the catheter blends structural rigidity for delivery ease with patient-centered comfort, kink resistance, and fast memory rebound. Its thin-wall construction, large skived drainage holes, and oversized hub enable superior flow rates. The patented TRU‑SET leak‑resistant locking mechanism ensures secure pigtail fixation without fluid leakage, preventing inadvertent dislodgement. The catheter’s reinforced tapered tip helps prevent buckling during insertion, while the lubricious Tru‑Slide Plus™ surface reduces trauma and maintains long‑term patency.
